Osborn Engineering seeks an Associate Director of Water Resources in Pittsburgh, PA and Detroit, MI to lead site development and water resources projects. You will manage multi‑discipline teams, client relations, and permitting while coordinating with managers and directors.
You will oversee design, budgeting, and scheduling, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery across diverse projects in utilities, development, and environments.

Osborn Engineering is seeking an Associate Director of Water Resources in our Pittsburgh, PA and Detroit, MI locations who will report to the Director of Water Resources and is able to prepare engineering calculations, draft construction plans, and manage projects with communications and design coordination. Osborn is a fully integrated multi-disciplined design firm that uses a specialized team approach to engineering projects. These teams are comprised of a staff of 390+ plus professionals that provide designs for all phases of a wide range of projects. Osborn has specialists in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and life safety, technology engineering, transportation, and commissioning. Our civil engineering practice includes design projects in diverse markets including site development, redevelopment, public utilities, water resources, sports facilities, broadcast infrastructure, master planning and pavement management. This position will work closely with the managers, directors, and engineering staff to ensure that our client’s needs and expectations are exceeded. Main responsibilities include project management client management, project design, permitting and plan review submittals, and plan preparation.
