Job summary

Bechtel in Reston, VA seeks a Project Change Control Manager to oversee the project trend program across a major EPC project. The role supports a multidisciplinary team, coordinating change control with risk, forecast, and cost processes to ensure compliant project delivery.

The incumbent will lead training, develop policies, and manage change initiatives from inception through implementation, working with clients and Bechtel management. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successful project change management and full exposure to project controls practices (baseline trending).
• Experience implementing Bechtel change management systems that complement contractual arrangements.
• Strong communication skills to influence and coach the team in effective change management.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, coordinates, and directs trend and change management program and presentations to Bechtel and client management.
• Develops and conducts change management related training of project personnel.
• Develops, interprets, and executes policy, objectives, and standards applicable to change management activities.
• Provides leadership in integrating the change management process with other key project procedures (e.g. Risk Management, Forecasting, Cost, Trends, and Claims).
• Provides leadership and guidance for analysis of change initiatives or work planning requiring detailed change assessment and response planning efforts.
