Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business or related field required.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with cost engineering activities, estimation, control, and analysis.
• Knowledge of financial reporting systems and controller codes.
• Experience on large EPC projects.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of Bechtel’s processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with project stakeholders across engineering, supply chain, and construction to identify and analyze cost trends for management attention.
• Prepares cost estimates using historical data, statistical analysis, and cost and quantity comparisons.
• Performs non-routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.
• Coordinates the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards, techniques, systems, and reports.
• Coordinates the development and accuracy of cost reports.
• Verifies consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and consistency.
• Prepares specific budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
• Investigates the requirements for estimating and/or cost control data.
• Collects and classifies cost data for use in forward-looking trend analysis.
