Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Project Change Control Manager in Reston, VA to lead the trend and change management program for a major project. You will coordinate with Bechtel and client management, develop related training, and ensure alignment with project policies and controls.

This role requires extensive experience in change management within engineering/construction programs and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 13+ years of relevant professional experience, or in lieu of a degree, 17+ years of directly relevant professional experience.
• Experience implementing Bechtel change management systems that complement contractual arrangements.
• Strong communication skills to influence and coach the team in effective change management at all stages of delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, coordinates, and directs trend and change management program and presentations to Bechtel and client management.
• Develops and conducts change management related training of project personnel.
• Develops, interprets, and executes policy, objectives, and standards applicable to change management activities.
• Provides leadership in terms of integrating the change management process with other key project procedures (e.g. Risk Management, Forecasting, Cost, Trends, and Claims) and supports stakeholders.
• Provides leadership and guidance for the analysis of change related initiatives or work planning requiring detailed change assessment and response planning efforts
