Job summary

GFT in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Sr. Project Architect/Manager to lead client-facing teams across Industrial, Life Sciences, Transportation, and Municipal markets.

This hybrid role requires regular office presence and strong project leadership to drive design excellence and on-time delivery. You will develop strategies for new and existing clients, manage production teams, and mentor staff while expanding GFT’s architectural presence in the Carolinas and Southeast.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience working in the field of architecture.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two of our target markets; Industrial, Life Sciences, Transportation, and Municipal.
• Experience with leading projects, project pursuits, and client management.
• Demonstrated network of client relationships within one or more target markets in the Southeast.

Responsibilities

• Be a client facing representative for GFT Architecture with a focus on Industrial, Life Sciences, Transportation, and Municipal clients.
• Assist local and national market leaders in expanding GFT’s market share throughout the Southeast.
• Lead proposals and presentations to key clients.
• Periodic travel throughout the Carolina region for opportunities, client meetings, etc.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships through responsive service, technical excellence, and reliable project delivery.
• Help establish and expand GFT's architectural presence and reputation throughout the Carolinas and Southeast.
• Lead by example in driving high-quality production of construction documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, estimates, and constructability assessments.
