Job summary

GFT is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Construction Services team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This full-time, onsite role leads large-scale construction projects for life sciences and industrial manufacturing, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

You will oversee estimating, scheduling, and management of structural, architectural, and MEP components up to $50 million, mentor junior staff, and serve as primary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects in regulated environments.
• Act as the primary liaison between GFT, clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded through proactive communication and problem-solving.
• Respond to client RFPs and prepare proposals.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and our internal quality requirements.
• Mentor and support junior project managers and team members.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
