Cuhah?i & Peterson Architects, Engineers & Planners, Inc. in Orlando is seeking a Technical Manager to lead architectural/engineering projects through design, construction documents, permitting, bidding and construction administration.

You will coordinate disciplines, ensure quality, mentor junior staff, manage budgets, and serve as the main client contact while advancing project goals in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of building construction methods and codes.
• Final responsibility for the technical quality of a project.

Responsabilités

• Serve as main point of contact for projects with clients, contractor and consultants.
• Coordinate with all disciplines.
• Oversee design and production of construction documents and specs.
• Maintain CP and/or client standards.
• Provide ongoing quality control throughout the project.
• Obtain and peer-review documents.
• Work with PM on project budgets and scope within deadlines.
• Delegate and review work of junior staff.
• Coordinate with Permitting (issuance, tracking, expediting, comments).
• Communicate owner revisions and RFIs.
• Assist in representing client interests at hearings/meetings.
• Provide customer service to maintain client relationships.
• Coordinate bidding: contractor qualification, bid docs, evaluation, contracts.
• Assist in Construction Administration: site visits, field reports, change orders, shop drawing review, lien waivers, close-out.
• Responsible for training and mentoring junior staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
