Job summary

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects is seeking an experienced Architect to lead complex projects from design through construction administration in a collaborative studio environment. The Architect will supervise teams, ensure code compliance, coordinate with disciplines, and manage production of CDs and specifications.

Must hold an active architectural license with at least ten years in a professional office, with strong knowledge of building methods and codes.

Qualifications

• Active architectural license required.
• Minimum of ten years' experience in a professional office.
• Strong understanding of building construction methods and major codes.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and direct coordination with engineering disciplines and systems.
• Cost estimating and documentation.
• Perform in-depth coordination QC checks.
• Assist with Architect I and mentor staff.
• Promote sustainable design and client-focused solutions.
• Oversee CDs production and QC across projects.
• Prepare design drawings and specifications.
