Job summary

STV Incorporated seeks a Senior Project Architect in New York City to lead complex architectural projects from kickoff to closeout. The SPA owns the drawing set, coordinates specs and subconsultants, and partners with design and project management leads to ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role requires 15+ years of experience, NYS RA, and strong Revit/BIM skills, with a focus on public/institutional work and code-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive architecture experience including independent project delivery from kickoff through closeout.
• Must be a Registered Architect; NYS registration required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Fluency in NYC Building Code and DOB filing/approval processes; experience with public/institutional clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from kickoff through closeout, directing architecture team and coordinating drawings and specs.
• Maintain technical authority over drawing set and documentation standards.
• Mentor staff and contribute to firmwide technical standards.
