Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Experienced Professional, Project Accounting to support project managers and project teams in the United States. Responsibilities include creating project budgets, margin analysis, funding in Oracle, and preparing robust project accounting reports.

You will work with Billing and Project Managers on pre-billing reviews, cost estimates, and invoicing, while ensuring accurate project financial records and compliant processes across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• 3–5 years of relevant post-education experience in accounting, project contracts and change management documents.
• Experience with project accounting principles and MS Excel.
• Ability to analyze financial data and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• For assigned project(s), manage and analyze collection, recording, and allocation of project costs and revenue to ensure accurate profit and loss.
• Lifecycle project accounting from creating project accounts in Oracle to tracking budgets and invoicing.
• Prepare project financial reports and escalate items needing review by project management.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on budgets, updates, and contract changes.
• Ensure draft invoices align with contract requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
