Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Accounting to lead the project accounting function for utility-scale solar and BESS projects. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow, while guiding a team of project accountants and collaborating with commercial managers.

This role requires strong accounting principles, analytical skills, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in a project-based environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; ability to collaborate within project teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for projects.
• Drive cash flow management by monitoring invoicing and payments.
• Lead and develop the Project Accounting team toward high performance.
• Provide strategic financial analysis, cost and profitability assessments.
• Collaborate with senior management to align accounting with company strategies.
• Ensure data integrity across forecasting tools and reports.
• Support project close-out activities and final reconciliations.
• Assist in audits and variance analysis for project deliverables.
