Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project accounting experience in construction or mechanical contracting.
• Strong understanding of job cost accounting, WIP, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
• Experience with construction accounting software (Procore, Viewpoint, CMiC, Sage Intaict).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead commitment agreements, ensuring contract terms compliance.
• Own cost-to-billings, progress billings, and SOV structures.
• Manage vendor/subcontractor compliance programs and lien documentation.
• Present monthly project financial reviews to leadership.
• Lead weekly project accounting meetings and drive issue resolution.
• Support year-end audit activities and maintain records.
