Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to deliver detailed analysis and reporting on project status within our established project controls framework. You will manage cost plans, baselines, and earned value analyses while collaborating with project leads to optimize schedules and budgets.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of 10 years of experience, an associate degree or higher in related fields, and a strong proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred.
Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience.
A minimum of 10 years of experience; advanced degree may offset years of experience.
Ability to build and status schedules, cost plans, and spend plans in project controls tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication, including grammar, punctuation, and proofreading.

Responsibilities

Provide detailed analysis and reporting on project status within established project controls.
Analyze, develop and report on cost estimation, EV/VM, variance, schedules, and budget/cost.
Support technical project management activities and assist with customer interactions.
Supervise junior project accountants as needed; collaborate with managers in a fast-paced environment.
