Qualifications

• 5+ years of cost accounting experience in project-based industries.
• Experience with Procore and Foundation software.
• Ability to prepare audit reports and present findings to leadership.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Cost Analysis & Tracking: collect, validate, and analyze labor, materials and other costs to monitor budgets.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: develop project budgets and forecasts, explain deviations.
• Financial Reporting: track expenses and revenue, prepare reports with accuracy.
• Budget Variance Analysis: assess variances and suggest financial adjustments.
• Balance Sheet Management: reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy.
• Billing & Contract Administration: manage project billing, including AIA payments, and review change orders.
• Process Improvement: propose policy/workflow changes to cut costs and boost profitability.
• Construction Accounting: apply job costing and WIP analysis to projects.
• Software Utilization: use Procore and Foundation for cost tracking and reporting.
• Team Support: assist other accountants with daily tasks and project needs.
