Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or project-based industries.
• Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in Procore, Foundation, Power BI, and standard expense management software.
• Advanced knowledge of WIP analysis.
• Experience preparing audit reports and presenting findings to leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Cost analysis and tracking of labor, materials, and other costs to prevent budget overruns.
• Develop and manage project-specific budgets; prepare forecasts and explain deviations.
• Track project expenses and revenue; prepare detailed financial reports.
• Perform budget variance analysis with project managers.
• Balance sheet maintenance and reconciliation for assigned accounts.
• Coordinate project billing, including AIA payment applications.
• Suggest policy/workflow improvements to reduce costs.
• Apply construction cost accounting and WIP analysis.
• Utilize Procore and Foundation for cost tracking and reporting.
• Assist other accountants with daily tasks.
