Job summary

Summit Line Construction seeks a Senior Project Accountant to manage project accounting, month-end close, and GAAP-compliant reporting across multiple projects. The role supports budget setup, reconciliations, and financial systems such as JDE.

You will drive accurate project financial records, load forecasts, and provide schedules for audits while coordinating with the Regional Controller and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 3-5+ years of project/construction accounting in a project-based environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of GAAP including ASC 606 and revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Establish new projects and maintain project budgets, cost codes, and WBS in the accounting system.
• Record budget changes and forecast updates in JDE and related systems.
• Perform project-level reconciliations and research discrepancies.
• Close monthly books and generate project reporting for leadership.
• Support audits with schedules and accounting documentation.
