Job summary

ZERO IMPACT ENERGY is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the Construction Arm’s financial accounting, ensure GAAP compliance, and provide strategic financial guidance to senior management. You will oversee accounting resources, coordinate with project managers, handling invoicing, budgeting, and project costing while implementing best practices to optimize processes.

This role requires strong Excel skills and CPA consideration.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business with emphasis in accounting.
• 3 years of “big 4” accounting firm experience is preferred.
• Experience navigating through complex technical accounting matters is a must.
• Current CPA license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports, including P&L and balance sheets, with variance analysis.
• Coordinate invoicing, receipts, approvals, and project documentation with PMs.
• Manage month-end close process including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and WIP.
