Job summary

Summit Line Construction, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to work directly with Project Managers and regional teams to drive financial deliverables across projects. You will monitor billing, change management, forecasting, and ensure information reaches Accounting on time.

You will provide hands-on support, reinforce standardized processes, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely completion of requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in project controls, construction finance, cost management, or project operations support.
• Experience working with Project Managers in a construction, infrastructure, or project-based environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of project billing, change management, forecasting, and EAC processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly project financial calendar and required deliverables with Project Managers and regional teams.
• Monitor client billing activity and ensure billings are prepared and submitted within established deadlines.
• Maintain the Change Budget Adjustment (CBA) log and track pending change orders with project teams.
• Coordinate monthly forecasting activities with Project Managers and ensure updates are completed by deadlines.
• Provide guidance and hands-on assistance to Project Managers on billing, change management, and forecasting processes.
• Serve as the primary coordination point between project teams and Accounting for required deliverables.
