CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to own day-to-day capital cost accounting for our data center build program. You’ll record capital activity, move costs through CIP toward capitalization, and manage reconciliations and schedules behind the CIP balance.

In this role you’ll produce monthly accruals and cost-to-complete analyses, support project setup and cost coding, and partner with accounting, finance, construction and operations. Reporting to the Manager, Project Accounting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience with capital, construction or fixed asset accounting.
• Experience preparing accruals, reconciliations and supporting schedules on a fixed close calendar.
• Understanding how capital cost accumulates in CIP and transfers to fixed assets when placed in service.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with SOX control environment.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with non-accounting teams.
• ERP systems experience; NetSuite an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Maintain daily record of capital spend, ensuring transactions are coded to the correct project, phase, entity and location.
• Review invoices and commitments and flag items requiring accounting judgment or capitalization review.
• Keep open items documented and current to resolve issues at period end.
• Support project setup and cost structure through which cost is captured.
• Assist interface of project cost between NetSuite and SiteTracker and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly open purchase order and construction accrual schedules and cost-to-complete views.
• Prepare cost capitalization analyses and useful life assessments for asset records.
• Prepare period-end CIP reconciliations and related accruals and liabilities.
• Support SOX documentation and respond to audits; identify process improvements.
