Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to own day-to-day accounting for capital costs within our data center build program. You will maintain CIP records, prepare entries to capitalize costs, and manage reconciliations and schedules that support the CIP balance.

You will coordinate with accounting, finance, construction, and operations, preparing accruals and cost-to-complete analyses while ensuring SOX controls and US GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience with capital, construction or fixed asset focus.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX controls.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Experience with ERP systems, NetSuite preferred.
• Comfort working cross-functionally with non-accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily capital spend records and ensure correct project/cost coding.
• Support project setup and cost structure; map costs to assets and locations.
• Prepare monthly accruals and cost-to-complete schedules; manage prior-period accruals.
• Analyze in-service and useful life decisions; document asset classifications.
• Prepare period-end reconciliations for CIP and related accounts; resolve issues.
• Assist audits and drive process improvements, including automation.
