Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to own the day-to-day accounting for capital costs on our data center build program. You will maintain CIP records, prepare entries that move costs toward capitalization, and own reconciliations and supporting schedules behind the construction in progress balance.

This role entails preparing monthly accruals and cost-to-complete analyses, supporting project setup and cost coding, and delivering analyses that support in-service and useful life

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in capital, construction, or fixed assets.
• Experience preparing accruals, reconciliations, and cost schedules.
• Understanding of how capital cost moves in CIP to fixed assets.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle large data sets.
• ERP systems experience; NetSuite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the daily record of capital spend and ensure proper coding to projects, phases, entities and locations.
• Review invoices and commitments and flag items needing capitalization review.
• Keep open items documented and current to resolve issues before period-end.
• Assist project setup and maintenance of project structures and hierarchies for cost capture.
• Support interface of project cost between NetSuite and SiteTracker and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare monthly open PO and construction accrual schedules and cost-to-complete views.
• Provide analysis for in-service and useful life decisions and asset classifications.
• Prepare period-end reconciliation of CIP and related accounts; investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain SOX documentation and support internal/external audits; identify process improvements.
