Job summary

LeoForce in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to own job cost accounting and billing for assigned projects and partner closely with project management. This role requires attention to detail in budgets, cost codes, and contract records, with responsibility for WIP, revenue recognition, and audit support.

You will manage subcontractor compliance, lien waivers, and retention while coordinating month-end close and project forecasts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in construction.
• Experience with job cost accounting, progress billing, and AIA billing formats.
• Knowledge of work in progress schedules and percentage of completion revenue recognition.
• Experience managing subcontractor compliance, lien waivers, and retention.
• Strong Excel skills and construction accounting software experience (Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint, Procore).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close entries, account reconciliations, and audit requests.
