Job summary

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of SCCC is seeking a Full-Time Manager, Programs to oversee day-to-day operations of assigned University programs at the UHealth medical campus in Miami, FL. The role provides guidance to staff and ensures programs align with institutional missions.

The manager will plan and evaluate programs, manage budgets, and report on outcomes, building internal and external partnerships to advance health equity and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of business and management principles.
• Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
• Ability to establish department goals, and objectives that support the strategic plan.
• Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others.
• Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, evaluates, and monitors multiple programs.
• Implements project plans related to the delivery of new and on-going programs.
• Works with internal stakeholders so that the program runs efficient and effectively.
• Evaluates and measures the effectiveness of assigned programs.
• Ensures that operations are managed within authorized budgets.
• Collects, manages, and reports program data.
• Develops and cultivates relationships and partnerships with various external entities and organizations to further department functions.
• Recruits, supervises, evaluates, and disciplines department staff to ensure optimum performance.
