Plug Power Inc. in New York seeks a Sr. Program Manager to own a portfolio of complex, high‑impact programs spanning engineering, product, sales, supply chain, and service.

You will define charters, budgets, schedules, and risk plans to deliver on specifications and milestones. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field; PMP preferred.
• Minimum seven years of progressive program management experience, with at least three years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Experience with Project and Resource Management Software. Smartsheet preferred.
• Experience in a customer-facing environment is required, including direct interaction with customers in a highly visible role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to present to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of complex, cross-functional programs, including schedules, resourcing, budgets, risk management, and alignment with business objectives across engineering and non-engineering initiatives.
• Lead high-visibility customer programs and cross-company initiatives, serving as the accountable owner and program interface.
• Maintain multiple complex schedules for development projects and company programs to meet market needs defined by Product Management.
• Develop and maintain program charters, scope documents, and business cases with product management and leadership.
• Coordinate across engineering, product, sales, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and service to set priorities and allocate resources.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and senior stakeholders on program status, communicating progress, risks, and schedule changes.
• Mentor junior program managers and contribute to standardized processes and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Develop our project management tools to improve efficiency and resource management.
