Job summary

Parker Hannifin seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead complex divisional programs from charter to contract closure. You will drive schedules, cost, risk, and change management while engaging with customers and multi-site teams.

The role requires a strong leadership presence, PMP certification, and 10+ years of program management experience in aerospace or related industries. On-site collaboration in Mentor, OH is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business or a related field; PMP certification typically within 6 months; MS/MBA and additional certifications preferred.
• 10+ years of related work experience, including 4+ years leading multiple projects/programs and direct leadership of teams.
• Subject matter expert in program management processes, methodology and architecture.
• Ability to lead multiple large, complex projects with diverse cross-functional teams.
• Extensive knowledge of aerospace contracting and procurement requirements; understanding of financial and labor cost systems.

Responsibilities

• Create program charter, baseline plan, and management components to meet customer needs and pricing.
• Maintain integrated schedules, data, financial and quality metrics; drive corrective actions.
• Develop program plans for current and new products across lifecycle stages.
• Serve as primary customer contact and negotiate contract changes.
• Organize programs by defining required expertise and supervising staff development.
• Approve multi-project plans, manage priorities, and coordinate subcontracted work.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and act as primary point of contact for program activities.
