Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in recreation, education, or related field is a plus.
• Experience with youth, adults, or seniors in recreational or educational settings is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of recreational activities, sports, arts and crafts or event coordination is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize recreational activities under supervision.
• Organize supplies and equipment and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain attendance and participation records.
• Assist with sports programs, games, events, and afterschool activities.
• Supervise participants and promote a safe environment.
• Set up and clean facilities and equipment; prepare spaces for activities.
• Maintain regular communication with supervisor and site staff.
