Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Program Management, Planning & Scheduling professional to join the Program Design & Planning organization in Goleta, CA. This full-time, onsite role collaborates with the Program Manager, finance, contracts, and technical leads to develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and ensure alignment with government requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance.
• 5+ years of Program Planning/Scheduling/PM experience.
• Citizenship and ability to obtain program access.
• Experience with scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar).
• Experience developing IMS and evaluating critical path/workflow.
• Experience with EVMS or similar business process.

Responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) aligned with government and corporate requirements.
• Assist in planning and cost estimating tasks, analyses, and reporting to meet schedule commitments.
• Prepare weekly/monthly schedule review packages and ensure Contractual Data Requirements List submissions.
• Conduct critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis, variance analysis, and related insights.
• Incorporate contractual changes into the IMS to maintain realistic baselines.
