Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Senior Program Scheduler at Tinker AFB, OK to support the AWACS program. You will develop and maintain IMS/IMP/WBS, define schedule relationships across acquisition milestones, and coordinate inputs from IPTs, contractors, and government stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) plus DoD experience; US citizenship and an active Secret clearance are mandatory. You will deliver IMS outputs, advise on schedule feasibility, and work with USAF and major

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must maintain an active Secret level clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 5 years DoD experience, or 8 years DoD experience, with 5 in DoD.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level scheduling support across AWACS programs and upgrades.
• Develop, manage, and maintain IMS, IMP, WBS, and EIMS with linked tasks and phases.
• Define schedule relationships across acquisition milestones, solicitations, reviews, production, and deployment.
• Monitor monthly schedule inputs from IPTs, contractors, and government stakeholders; integrate into master schedule using CPM.
• Support planning, award readiness, and milestone execution.
• Advise on schedule feasibility, mission capability, and proposal risk.
• Coordinate schedule activities among USAF stakeholders and major defense contractors.
• Prepare IMS outputs including Gantt charts, network diagrams, and risk identification.
• Ensure integration of sustainment with acquisition activities across lifecycle phases.
• Communicate schedule status, risks, and recommended corrective actions to leadership.
