RTX in New England offers a Hybrid Senior Program Quality Engineer position within the Advanced Technology SBUs. You will partner with Program Quality Lead across the full product life cycle, ensuring conformance to AS9100/AS9145 and other industry standards while supporting design, production, and test activities.

This role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years in quality, engineering, or manufacturing, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• Ability to provide quality technical leadership for design/development results.
• Experience with remote-site programs including material receipt, installation and test.
• Active Secret or higher U.S. government security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the program execution team, ensuring conforming products through strong partnerships.
• Review and approve design artifacts and change requests for technical impact and quality.
• Review subcontract statements of work to ensure program requirements alignment.
• Assess technical risk of non-conformances using analytical skills.
• Support failure investigations and nonconformance reviews with oversight.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and customers to meet requirements.
• Drive compliance with Raytheon Quality Management System and continuous improvement.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and closed-loop process controls.
• Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning per AS9145 where applicable.
