Job summary

RTX Corporation in the United States is seeking a Senior Program Quality Engineer (PQE) to support the Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit. The role partners with the Program Quality Lead across the full product life cycle, ensuring conformance to AS9100, AS9145 and APQP standards and alignment with customer requirements.

The position is hybrid and located in New England, with travel to multiple New England sites and suppliers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) required with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• Active and transferable Secret or higher U.S. government-issued security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the program execution team to ensure conforming products and services.
• Review and approve design artifacts and change requests for technical impact and quality.
• Assess technical risk of non-conformances using analytical thinking.
• Support failure investigations and nonconformance reviews.
• Work with cross-functional partners to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Drive compliance with the Raytheon Quality Management System and continuous improvement.
