Job summary

RTX seeks a Senior Program Quality Engineer to partner across the full product life cycle within the Advanced Technology (AT) Strategic Business Unit. The PQE ensures conformance to processes, reviews design artifacts, and drives corrective actions with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.

The role emphasizes AS9145-based planning, risk mitigation, and collaboration; travel in New England is anticipated, with a security clearance mandatory to work on government contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• 8+ years of experience in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Operations.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• Active and transferable Secret or higher U.S. government security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the program execution team, ensuring conforming products and services through effective partnership and compliance to processes and procedures.
• Review and approve design artifacts and change requests to assess technical impact and quality.
• Review and approve subcontract statements of work to ensure alignment with program requirements.
• Assess technical risk of non-conformances using critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Support and oversee failure investigations and nonconformance reviews.
• Work with cross-functional partners and customers to align with requirements.
• Drive compliance with the Raytheon Quality Management System and continuous improvement.
• Initiate root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and close the loop on process controls.
• Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning per AS9145, as applicable.
