Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Program Planning & Scheduling Manager 2 to lead a department of schedulers supporting Marine Systems. This onsite role operates on a 9/80 schedule and requires DoD Secret clearance; relocation assistance may be available.

Responsibilities include managing scheduling baselines, integrating Earned Value Management, and partnering with program management and business management at the Sunnyvale site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 8 years of related experience, or Master’s with 6 years.
• Will consider 12 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• 4 years of hands-on experience in Program Planning / Scheduling using Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of project management and EV principles.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Must be able to travel 10% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead a department of schedulers and provide guidance on plans and integrated schedules.
• Coordinate with Program Management and Business Management leadership.
• Ensure compliance with NGMS scheduling processes and EVMS.
• Support bids, baseline reviews, and internal projects.
