Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU) in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks a Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler to join the Scheduling Center of Excellence.

You will develop program plans, maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and decompose scope into tasks, analyzing dependencies and impacts on the critical path. The role collaborates with PMs, Engineering, Operations, and Business Management, estimates resource requirements, manages status updates, and ensures EVMS compliance on mission-system programs; U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related work experience; 6 years can substitute for degree.
  • Some planning/scheduling experience as noted in job postings.
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Ability to travel domestically ~10% of the time.
  • US citizenship required; ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Job description

Program Planning Analyst / Scheduler – Sunnyvale, CA

The Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler will be hired directly into our Scheduling Center of Excellence and placed on programs within the Mission Systems sector. The role interfaces with Program Managers, Engineering, Operations, and Business Management to develop program plans and schedules, maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), decompose scope into tasks, analyze dependencies and impacts on the critical path, estimate resource requirements, manage status updates, and ensure compliance with EVMS guidelines.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
  • Will consider 6 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.
  • Some planning/scheduling related experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Program scheduling experience using Microsoft Project, Oracle P6, Deltek Open Plan, or other related scheduling tools.
  • Experience using Schedule Health Analysis and Schedule Risk Assessment tools.
  • Working knowledge of EVMS guidelines and processes.
  • Current, active U.S. Government Secret level security clearance.

Salary Range

Primary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00
