Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Sr Principal Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler for on-site work on a 9/80 schedule. The role focuses on developing and maintaining integrated master schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior schedulers.

You will apply EVMS principles, perform schedule risk analyses, and support program decisions with rigorous analysis and clear communication to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years related experience OR Master's with 10+ years.
• 16 years of applied scheduling experience may substitute for a degree.
• 8+ years scheduling with MS Project, Oracle P6 or Deltek Open Plan.

Responsibilities

• Develop and status the IMS/IMS to meet program objectives weekly.
• Lead several schedulers and mentor junior staff on planning practices.
• Apply EVMS and risk analyses to guide program decisions and cost/schedule tradeoffs.
• Coordinate with program teams across finance, engineering, and manufacturing.
