Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler to join the Scheduling Center of Excellence in Linthicum, MD. This onsite role operates on a 9/80 schedule.

This position coordinates with engineering, operations, and program management to decompose scope and establish the program schedule baseline, supporting cost and technical performance goals. A Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional related experience, or a Master’s with 3 years.
• 9 years of applied experience in lieu of degree accepted.
• Program scheduling experience with MS Project, Oracle P6, Deltek Open Plan or equivalent.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Willingness to travel domestically ~10% and US Citizenship required.
• Active US Government Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering and operations to decompose scope and baseline the program schedule.
• Develop an integrated baseline to manage cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Use scheduling tools to track progress and identify variances with action plans.
• Perform schedule risk analyses and support mitigation with the program manager.
• Contribute to metrics reviews and predictive analyses for cost and schedule performance.
