Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Sr Principal Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler to join our Scheduling Center of Excellence in Linthicum, MD. This onsite role features a 9/80 work schedule and a $5K sign-on bonus for external hires.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with engineering and operations to decompose scope and establish the program schedule baseline. The role requires a US citizenship, a Secret clearance, and travel about 10% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience or Master's with 6 years
• Consider 12 years of applied experience in lieu of degree
• 4 years of program scheduling experience using scheduling tools
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to travel domestically ~10%
• U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance required

Responsibilities

• Establish and control the program schedule baseline with multifunctional teams
• Develop an integrated program measurement baseline for cost, schedule and tech performance
• Use scheduling software to plan, track progress and identify variances
• Perform analyses to improve cost, schedule and tech performance
• Conduct schedule risk analyses and mitigate critical path issues
