Job summary

ACET, Incorporated in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead contract execution for the F/A-18 variants program at NAS Norfolk. You will serve as the principal administrator and overall lead for the contracted effort, liaison with Government authorities, and drive operational excellence to support naval aviation platforms.

Responsibilities include directing performance, managing staffing and budgets, monitoring SOW requirements and milestones, and mitigating risks to maintain

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• MA or MS degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in program management/defense operations/contract administration.
• Deep understanding of NAVAIR operations and FAR compliance.
• Excellent executive leadership and communication with military and civilian stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the overall lead for the contracted effort and ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Serve as primary interface with Government program authorities on technical, program, and project issues.
• Direct and monitor contractor execution of performance metrics, SOW requirements, and milestones.
• Manage staffing, budgeting, and asset deployment for the program.
• Identify risks, implement mitigations, and maintain schedule and technical integrity.
