Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is seeking a Senior Operations Manager (Key Personnel) to direct contract performance for the F/A-18 variants program at NAS Patuxent River. You will be the principal administrator and overall authority for the contracted effort, interfacing with Government authorities and driving resource optimization and risk management.

This high-visibility leadership role requires proven defense program management experience, MA/MS

Qualifications

• Requires DoD Secret clearance access to airfield and facilities.
• Master of Arts or Master of Science degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in defense program management, military operations, or contract administration.
• Exceptional executive leadership, negotiation, and high-level communication skills for briefing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted effort to meet performance standards.
• Serve as principal point of contact with Government program authorities on technical, program, and project management challenges.
• Direct, evaluate, and monitor contractor execution of performance metrics, SOW requirements, and milestones.
• Manage resources, staffing, budgeting, and asset deployment across the program.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and technical integrity.
