Job summary

Brown and Caldwell seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead complex water and wastewater programs across the East US. The role supports planning, governance, and delivery while traveling as needed. Remote, hybrid, or local office work arrangements are available to suit the candidate.

You will guide program lifecycle activities, drive performance and benefits realization, and mentor junior staff. A bachelor’s in engineering or related field plus PMP/PM certification within 12 months are preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically a minimum of 10 years of related work experience in project management or program management.
• Experience delivering moderately to highly complex projects under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead assignments and activities on complex projects and programs.
• Utilize comprehensive understanding of our company's program management services to offer optimal solutions to clients.
• Leverage activities across program management lifecycle phases: planning, initiation, delivery, and closeout.
• Manage activities within the programs organization, including program governance and stakeholder management.
• Operate independently through effective planning, coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards, and the program meets the intended outcomes.
• Manage activities to support performance and benefits realization plan, monitoring progress, and making adjustments as necessary to maximize outcomes.
• Implement sales techniques for successful negotiation and transaction.
• Mentorship: May provide mentorship, guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to help less experienced team members develop their skills and grow within their roles.
• Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs.
