Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Manager for the Space and Defense Group in Elma, NY, with onsite duties in Buffalo. You will lead cross-functional teams across contracts, procurement, engineering, and production to deliver complex aerospace programs on time and within budget.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or Business and 5+ years of program management in a manufacturing setting, with a preference for PMP certification and security clearance. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or Business.
• Five+ years of program/project management experience in production/manufacturing (aerospace/defense).
• Experience managing complex production programs with cost, schedule, and performance responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams including contracts, procurement, engineering, test, operations, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical programs from contract award through final item delivery, supporting sales and proposals.
• Lead and manage large cross-functional teams across contracts, procurement, engineering, test, operations and quality.
• Oversee and manage tasks from engineering design to qualification and production lifecycle.
• Ensure requirements are interpreted and met throughout the program.
• Ensure program plan, schedule, and costs meet Moog and customer expectations.
• Coordinate and present materials at internal and customer reviews.
