Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo/Elma, NY seeks a Senior Program Manager for the Space and Defense Group to lead technical programs from award to delivery. You will coordinate with contracts, procurement, engineering, test, operations, and quality to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience in aerospace/defense, knowledge of cost/schedule/performance, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams. Some travel may be required; PMP and security clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or Business required.
• Minimum 5 years PM experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• Experience managing complex production programs with cost, schedule, performance.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, supply chain, quality).
• Identify issues impacting performance and recover costs/schedule.
• Understand contractual requirements; travel may be required.
• PMP certification preferred; security clearance highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical programs from contract award through final delivery.
• Coordinate across contracts, procurement, engineering, test, operations and quality.
• Oversee design, qualification and production lifecycle tasks.
• Ensure requirements are interpreted and met throughout the program.
• Manage program plan, schedule and costs to meet expectations.
• Prepare materials for internal and customer reviews; present status.
• Review costs and risks and report at Program Management Review.
