Job summary

Moog Military Aircraft LLC in East Aurora, NY seeks a Staff Program Manager to lead one of Moog’s largest production programs, generating over $100 million in revenue. This full‑time, on‑site role reports to the Business Unit General Manager and includes relocation support for qualified candidates.

You will optimize program success through cross‑site collaboration, manage contract requirements, and lead plans for scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• 10+ years in program management or engineering.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience delivering programs on schedule, within budget, and with quality.

Responsibilities

• Optimize program success through collaboration with stakeholders across sites and functions.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements by coordinating and managing all program activities.
• Achieve program objectives through effective application of program-management principles within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage cost and schedule performance to achieve development program objectives and ensure compliance by monitoring cost, schedule, and task completion.
• Develop and manage program plans with detailed schedules and coordinate all program elements.
• Resolve issues through day-to-day communications with customers, Moog management, and cross-functional teams.
• Work with functional groups to develop recovery plans when necessary.
• Support process improvements and standard work within Program Management.
• Sustain and expand Moog’s book of business through proposal teams and business capture.
