Job summary

Caterpillar is building a greenfield smart manufacturing campus in Sanford, North Carolina. We seek a Senior Program Manager to lead the integrated delivery across seven workstreams, driving alignment and readiness for startup.

You will partner with HR, IT/OT, suppliers, and operations to manage scope, budget, schedule, risks, and decisions, ensuring a successful handoff and measurable program health.

Qualifications

• Top candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and/or formal PM certifications.
• Experience leading large-scale, complex programs with cross-functional teams.
• Strong governance, planning, scheduling, risk, and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated program management strategy for development, construction, readiness, and startup of the Sanford facility.
• Manage seven interconnected workstreams and align scope, budget, schedule, risks, and deliverables.
• Oversee program governance, escalation paths, and executive decision forums; ensure execution of actions.
