Responsibilities include coordinating IT teams, vendors, and service providers to deliver a startup-ready, scalable operation with a managed support model and governance. Strong strategic and leadership skills are required.

• Experience leading complex IT programs, manufacturing technology deployments, or site startups.
• Ability to translate manufacturing needs into architecture decisions and priorities.
• Experience guiding multidisciplinary teams toward secure, scalable solutions.
• Ability to influence business leaders and stakeholders across a large enterprise.
• Leadership experience coaching technical professionals and driving adoption of new standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Caterpillar IT teams, architects, service providers, and specialists to align with enterprise standards.
• Navigate enterprise tech, manufacturing, cybersecurity, infrastructure and vendor teams to bring expertise to the table.
• Support smart manufacturing priorities by enabling connected equipment, analytics, and manufacturing systems.
• Facilitate alignment across IT and OT teams to clarify requirements, ownership, and risks.
• Translate business needs into implementation plans and delivery activities for the facility launch.
• Ensure architecture reviews, governance, and training are established with IT teams.
• Evaluate platforms and vendors balancing value, feasibility, cybersecurity, and TCO.
• Develop roadmaps to move pilots into reliable operations with phased capability delivery.
• Lead transition from project delivery to ongoing operation with knowledge transfer and service management.
