Job summary

The New York Times is seeking a Senior Program Manager to shape and lead the People Data & Insights team by turning complex HR questions into scalable, automated solutions. You will partner directly with HR leadership to create our roadmap while managing the end-to-end lifecycle from intake to delivery.

You will spend equal time translating business needs with stakeholders and partnering with engineers on technical execution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience delivering data or analytics products.
• 5+ years translating ambiguous business questions into concrete requirements.
• Ability to read SQL queries and interrogate a data model.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for people data solutions from intake to launch and adoption.
• Oversee request intake and prioritization with clear expectations.
• Translate business questions into solution requirements and collaborate with engineers.
• Partner with Analytics Engineer and Solutions Architect on scoping and delivery.
• Develop the education layer within the solution.
