Job summary

ShopMy in New York is seeking a Senior Manager, People Operations to build the infrastructure powering ShopMy's People function as we scale. You’ll own data, HRIS, analytics, and day-to-day operations to enable faster, better-informed decisions across the business.

This is a build role reporting to the VP of People Experience & Operations, with room to grow a direct report and shape how we manage HR data, payroll, benefits, and compliance company-wide in a fast-growing, creator-focused

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of progressive HR operations experience with ownership of an HRIS.
• Hands-on experience building or re-architecting people systems and processes.
• Strong people analytics: dashboards, data storytelling, and actionable metrics.
• Experience designing a service delivery model (tickets, SLAs) for an internal team.
• Ability to work in ambiguity with a build-from-scratch mandate.
• High trust and discretion with sensitive employee data.

Responsibilities

• Own and elevate our people data strategy and HRIS integrity.
• Build and run analytics reporting cadence with dashboards for leaders.
• Design a ticketing/service model with SLAs and self-service resources.
• Own HR tech stack roadmap and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness for people data.
• Connect People with Finance, Legal, and IT to streamline work.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement them.
• Advise the VP on scaling People processes org-wide.
