Job summary

KCNSC, managed and operated by Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, LLC, is a premier advanced manufacturing facility supporting the Nation's nuclear security missions. It spans Albuquerque, NM and Kansas City, MO, delivering trusted national security products and services for the DOE/NNSA.

The Program Manager leads moderately to significantly complex program elements, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to meet cost and schedule commitments while ensuring security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering, business, or program management.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, determine, and drive program management activities to manage one or more moderate to significantly complex weapons program elements.
• Provide expertise to review and drive execution of innovative solutions to technical issues.
• Apply program management and financial standard to the development of cost and schedule framework for projects and program elements; intervene as necessary to ensure delivery to cost and schedule agreements.
• Provide primary support and guidance to the financial planning, monitoring, scheduling, preparation, and release of technical/schedule information required for program/project planning.
• Define and establish production/project definitions, maintenance of schedules, and engineering releases associated with assigned program elements for a weapon or reimbursable program.
• Perform liaison roles with company, Department of Energy, design agencies, laboratories, integrated contractors, and other government agencies for one or more weapons and growth programs; may function as point of contact for one or more elements.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with other internal business units and external customers.
• Guide and mentor Associate Program Managers and other program support staff.
