Job summary

Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC), operated by Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, is seeking a Chemical or Mechanical Engineer to perform complex engineering functions on major programs. You will apply advanced math, physics, and engineering tech to design, evaluate, and improve products and processes.

You must have a BS in engineering or physics, 4+ years of relevant experience, and be eligible for U.S. DOE security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited Engineering program or physics BS.
• Four+ years of relevant engineering/analytical experience.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Work remotely, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management.

Responsibilities

• Design and/or project/process management of new and current products, programs, components, tools, and acceptance equipment.
• Develop test procedures and perform complex evaluation tests and quality audits.
• Prepare evaluation reports, analyze discrepancies, and recommend improvements.
• Define and acquire tooling and equipment to assure product quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve design, development, and production issues.
• Assess technological advances to improve productivity and reduce flowtime.
