Job summary

The Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC) is operated by Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, LLC. The Sr Electrical Engineer will support highly technical and advanced manufacturing processes, manage projects, and drive quality through design, testing, and production transitions.

You will lead technical teams, develop procedures, and apply advanced engineering methods to solve complex manufacturing challenges in a national security context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or physics from ABET-accredited program.
• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience in advanced manufacturing or related fields.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DOE/security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% and work on-site as directed.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for highly technical manufacturing processes and projects.
• Plan, manage resources, and coordinate across engineering, quality, and production.
• Analyze electrical tests, troubleshoot failures, and adjust processes for quality.
• Write technical reports and transition designs from concept to production.
• Mentor engineers and lead project teams toward continual improvement.
