Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED as a minimum requirement.
• Must meet DOE medical and physical fitness standards and comply with applicable statutes.
• Invalid driver’s license not acceptable; must maintain valid license.
• Ability to wear PPE and operate while protected.
• On-call availability after hours and during holidays is required.
• Ability to perform shift work and travel up to 10%.
• United States citizenship is required; must be able to obtain DOE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Enforces security measures to prevent unauthorized access or theft.
• Operates and monitors surveillance systems within Security Operations Center.
• Dispatches emergency response personnel under policy guidelines.
• Provides first contact for injuries and coordinates with responders.
• Responds to alarms and suspicious activity per security orders.
• Performs escorted duties and ensures safety for all personnel.
• Protects classified material and maintains knowledge of security orders.
• Maintains facility perimeters and asset protection.
• Performs additional duties as required.
